Larry, Thanks for explaining about the blue tones and what the histogram shows. This information is educational. |

I agree that this is a majestic view of the three peaks and the tonal contrast and composition are clear strengths.
I too, support Pat's adjustments to remove some of the cyan hues and increase brightening on the mountain. |

I adore the different shades of pink in this image and the patterns of the mountain laurel arrangement and their details create an interesting mass shot.
Tell me more about you experience using Smart Sharpen. Thanks.
If the goal is to direct to make the grouping of eight pop you might consider adding additional blur, less contrast, and possibly darkening the 'background' buds. |

I find this superb. The light and colors of the scene lead my eye and the framing and textures of the stone walls enhance the interest for me.
Eleanor's suggestion observation about the slanting is a good one, I think. I didn't notice it before her comment. |

I admire the interesting facial expressions and frozen action that you've captured. Thanks for sharing this fun shot! To my eye the composition is excellent. In fact I like the angle of the pool edge because it seems to reinforce the dynamic nature of this capture. Great shot!
I agree with Arun's suggestion to flip the image horizontally because it seems to lead my eye in that direction. |
