To me this is a great story telling shot and I admire the balance in color, tonality, and details that you've captured in this image. The composition is strong and there is a sense of movement or perhaps it is the effect of wind that I may be seeing in the coyote's fur. The subtle blue cast to the snow enhances the icy feel for me.
I am glad to learn you were safe in a warm room and fortified by coffee, rather than exposed to the elements and physically close to a hungry predator.

This image has a dreamy effect for me. At first I found the upper right corner too bright, however the contrast with what someone described as foreboding suggests a sense of optimism to me and makes me study it again. Thanks for sharing this one.

To my eye this image captures many aspects of Japanese design: stillness, asymmetry, naturalness, simplicity, austerity. I, too, enjoy the colors in this beautiful image.
Larry's suggestions for cropping appear to be promising and I support them.

Now I find the sepia color with rich tones to be more pleasing than the colors which seem to compete with the main subject. The use of enhance the feeling of depth for me in this image. I enjoy seeing the textures and the contrasting clean geometrical lines created by the main subject. |

I admire your great eye in capturing this sweet shot! I, too, am intrigued by the facial expression that stirs my imagination. The swirling color reflections and wave give me a sense of motion in this image. Well, done!
I am not bothered by the lack of a dominant green, unless you see it as the main theme...easy to change in post=processing, I think. |

To my eye, the color balance and soft focus convey a pleasing and calming painterly effect, while directing my attention to the interesting details of the bee. I agree that the diagonal composition is dynamic and helps to bring the image alive to me. I like the negative space because it seems to give the bee more breathing room.
There is a small patch of blue in the lower left corner that is distracting to me.
