To my eye this is a stunning monochrome. The beautiful lighting and rich textures are so pleasing to my eye and the HDR treatment gives it an artistic feel. Thanks for sharing this stunning capture! |

Expanding the canvas gives this image a different feel for me compared to your version. I do, however, enjoy your version using a tighter crop because it emphasizes the patterns and textures and makes a bold statement...as if the architectural details were seen from an unusual perspective. |

I agree with the suggestions on cropping out some of the water and the lighthouse and then flipping the image. This is a wonderful image to further enhance, as you've suggested, Fran. I think you've captured my expectations for a gathering storm in this one! |

Wow, Pat, I love this image. I wouldn't change it and then I saw Larry's suggestion, and agree that giving the eye more space from the left enhances it. Thanks for this beauty! |

To me the softness and dreamy feel that you've captured are so pleasing.
I tried cropping out the a strip of some of the bright path at the bottom and it gave the image a different feel. I like your version better, because it seems to balance the composition for me. |

Arun,
Your modified versions looks great. I find this story-telling image very interesting and the approaches to post-processing exchanged by you and Larry helpful.
I enjoy maple syrup, too. The rising steam and capture of motion, in this image, are fascinating. Thanks for working on it again and sharing the results. |
