Michael's photo is a different scene, message, comment on nature. Lisa's photo is about the nature of natural beauty in everyday walks. Michael's isolates a beauty within a natural setting. I cannot compare the two on "better"or "worse" scale because they are two different in concept and presentation.
I agree Lisa's fence could be toned down and may be just for fun turn it green or brown.
I guess what I am saying is Lisa's photo tells a story and Michael's is a pretty picture.

The only thing that bothers me is/are the windmill(s). It is a beautiful barn yard scene until I saw the windmill. It shifted the pass to the present. Did you try to clone them out of the photo?
I love B/W photography. It is hard to do on a bright sunny day. Well done. |

What a great place to be in. The quite of the scene is awsum.
The only suggestion I can offer is the rock as been over darken -a gray color. It is bright sunny day and the rock should reflect some of the light.

I vote for Faded Flower because of the lighted & textured back ground. I shifted between the three photos and was amazed how much the back ground gave the flowers life.
Well done. |

I hope the class leader gives you an A for this photo.
Have you thought of making it look like an old painting. It would make a great vintage type painting. |
