Nice silhouette photo. I agree with Ruth that a tighter crop would work to better focus on the birds. Your camera setting are interesting. ISO 3200. Good work. |

Thank you for the photo.I learned a lot about the memorial. The angle you shot from is original.
I could not make it work at first. The two small figures about the middle indicated there was lower area. The sharp line just in front of the woman walking is not a shadow but and edge of a pit. Then what looks like water marking on the lower wall of the pit interested me. Since I had never see the memorial I went to internet. It is Big. Not one picture of the hundred or so photo I looked at were taken from where you were standing. It took a while but I figure out where you had to have been to take this picture. The photo is great without a lot of people. The only thing I would suggest would be to darken the water from the fountain. |

The photo has a blue tinge that mutes the color contrast. And to me is takes away the coolness that part of the story.
I agree the original black rock face and the color in the foreground trees gave it more life.
PS. I remember seeing a similar photo about a year+ ago. It was striking just as this photo. |

Used and loved tools. Beautiful. My eye went right to the pencil. I have an old leather tool belt that looks similar.
I think the lighting is just right for the subject. |

You are good. To make the green grasshopper stand out with such detail on a green leaf with green lighting is challenging.
The little light just on top of its head I thought might have been due to cloning. I it is also on the original. Interesting.
The framing does give it more punch. |
