I agree with you: prefer the starkness of the sky. Some how the clouds distract from the beauty of the building.
Do you happen to know what the image is on the right side of the building carved into the wall. It reminds me of a Greek stature or carving I have seen in museums. |

Beautiful shape well done photo. I agree with all the above comments. I am not sure of what "wonky" means but they reflect the culture and history beautifully. |

A great capture and eye catching. I agree with the dark branches being removed. Also, there is a small dark object near the left side about the middle of the photo. I would clone it out. |
