52 May 22 Comment Birds are fun to watch and photograph as they flutter their wings. I think your original is a nice capture of bird activity. However, I think your crop is too tight for the lens you were using. A longer zoom lens would give you a clearer final image. I suggest a wider crop placing your birds in the bottom third part of the image. May 8th
52 May 22 Comment The owl's eye caught my attention immediately. It is clear, sharp, and looks straight at me. There is a nice catch light to it. Your background improvement is amazing considering your original. I like the green that you ended up using. If you have the desire to work more on this, some of the hairs on the owl's head (which are well separated from the background) have a green tint to them. The tree limb is out of focus. You can either clone some from the far top of the original or simply darken what you have. For me, it is too light. I think you did a fine job with a rough original background. May 8th
52 May 22 Comment What a lovely image. The water is silky, and the reflection shows beautifully. I think the mountain rock is a bit bright and can be taken back a small amount. The trees are well captured and processed. Well done. May 8th
52 May 22 Comment Sharon, I wonder if what you included for the original image is indeed, the original? It is cropped more than the one you submitted for the processed version.
Your submitted image is lovely, quite clear, and the colors of nature work well. I like how you treated the background. I think you can crop some from the left taking the flower from the center and putting in perfectly on a full line of power point.
There is a white spot in the sky area near the large left petal. It is not in the original. There is a spot on the top green leaf that I would remove. There are also white spots on the submitted image that are not on the original. I suggest they be cleaned up a bit.
