Gracious, with that pile of challenges, I'm amazed that you were able to post at all. I hope life calms down for you. No one needs that kind of excitement.

I don't have a 1-10 number for you; however what I like is the water spray the crop and the foreground treatments. I liked that the spray was evidently caused by the osprey. I had to look too closely at the original and processed images to find the head so that bothered me. Perhaps if the head has more contrast it would show better. |

I like your fun treatment of what is important. That you blackened the background makes it work as fun photography. It reminds me of the metal art that one sticks in the yard. |

Turning the turtle was a good decision. The turtle is clear and interesting. I like what Mike did with the water and vegetation. The vegetation being eaten is more district. |

The green water is captivating and works well with the rocks. The image is clear and sharp. A longer lens would have been nice to have but since you did not have it, you did well with composition and settings. |

I shot it at 100. I would have liked a wide angle lens but this was what I had at the time. It was a short stop on a coach tour which left me little time to switch lenses.

Your image is quite sharp. I like the water droplets on the body, and the eyes are looking right at you. I like the moody feel in the image. It looks like a cold day. |

I was going to rent the 2x converter for my RF100-400 and was told by the rental company that it would not be a good fit, as people were having difficulties with it. So I find you question interesting. I think some of the whites on the breast and wing are a bit blown out and not as clear as your images usually are. The rest of the image is sharp. I like the golden tones of the water in the original. I also like the reflection shown there. |

Thank you for this information. It gives me a smile. The tree absolutely stands out on both a beautiful day and on a day like this with moody mist and clouds. |

I had mixed feelings about the crop so am glad you responded to it. I like your crop. I used ISO 100 on a tripod. The ones I used with ISO 100 were not severly noisy. |
