Wow I haven't used some of these things. It will be fun to learn them. |

Well captured and processed. You managed to tamp down bright spots while lightening dark areas. The eyes have good catch light. I cannot figure out what is happening with the 4th owlet in the top left but it adds humor to the story. I am curious if others will advise you to clean up the walls but I think they should be left as they are. They are part of the story. |

For me the leaves give a gentle lead up to the sweet Phoebe. I like how you have cropped to make the leaves seem like stairs. Your background blur is just right for showing off the parts of the image that make it work. Well done. |

I find the colors interesting. Mother Nature gives us so many rewards. The way you have cropped the image gives it an abstract feel. That makes it fun. I wonder what a smaller f/stop would have given you? I also think the top flower could be an image by itself. |

Ally, what a delightful image. Your treatment is well done as well. I like how the sun shines on the open mouth. This is a great nature story. I thought about your question before I read what your summary, and I think the extra mouth is fine. Without it, your photography is equally good but is a different story. This small mouth tells more. I can image what the rest of the body would be. I am curious to see what others say. |

I would like to be in this place. The water is soothing. Your treatment of it is well done. I like the foreground rocks and swirling water near them. My attention follows the upstream path. I like your treatment of the trees but think the yellow is a bit bright. |

I opened this image, and my attention went straight to the ram's eye. It stayed there for a moment then followed the horn around. Next, I noticed how beautifully sharp all of the animal is. Your foreground compliments the ram. You have handled all the colors beautifully.
These were my comments after I looked at the online image; however when I clicked on the image to see a larger view of it, the background appeared slightly too bright. My attention bounced between the ram and the mountain. I would suggest taking the brightness down a small amount.
