52 Aug 20 Comment I like what you have done with the flower history. I like the colors; however feel that the splashes of pink in the outer edges detract from the image. I notice them but would rather have my focus on the flower. I suggest keeping the background a simple off-white solid color or none at all.
I also think it needs a bit of sharpening for greater impact.		 Aug 9th
52 Aug 20 Comment Ally, I like the mood set by your image. The mist sets a dreamy feeling. I think it needs a bit more contrast in the trees. And I agree that a crop on the left would bring focus to the nature of the image. Aug 7th
52 Aug 20 Comment This was soon after a rain at Brookside Nature Center so is all natural water. I thought about needing a stem but did not put it in this image. So it is nice to have other ideas about it. I was unsure what to do with the dark water spots but like your suggestion about color and will play with that. Aug 6th
52 Aug 20 Comment I like everything about this. The eye draws me to the photo immediately. The feathers are sharp, and the blue is beautiful. Your background green treatment is especially nice. I looked several times to be sure, and the only suggestion I have is to remove a bright white spot on the second from right feather. There are some nice feather strands under the spot. Aug 4th
52 Aug 20 Comment I like your concept of an aged image. Your color balance works. I think the flower needs a small amount of sharpening, and a small amount more than that to the stamen so they stand out from the flower. Aug 4th
52 Aug 20 Comment I am amazed that you got both the butterfly and the bee in flight so crystal clear. Your colors are great and the composition works well.
The face of the butterfly is very dark as is the green around it. I have to look hard to find the face. I suggest you choose your way to separate those two things. One needs to be lightened. This is a beautiful capture of nature.
