I don't find the whole bird, only the mouth to be a bit bright. The bird is well done. |

Mike, I am not suggesting a Luminar substitute. I took your original image and added the third blue PS photo filter to your original sky. Another Luminar might work. I think the one you chose did not work with this particular image. |

This is a fun image and nature story. The wink adds good humor. I think your background is a bit too bright and competes with the owl. I also see a halo around the top of the papa owl's wings and head. It took me a moment to see the bug so agree with Mike that you might dodge/burn to make it more easily seen. |

I like the clarity of the leaves on your entry. The background lighting highlights the texture of the leaves. I would suggest only to tone down the brightness by a very small amount. The berries add interest, and I think it a good idea to flip it horizontally. |

Your capture of the water is quite interesting. I look forward to seeing future captures as you lean more about the Go Pro. Were you in a boat, holding your camera above and below the water? I don't think the Luminar sky that you chose is right for the colors of your image. I tried the third blue PS photo filter on the actual image in the scene and think it gives a nice blue sky that looks real. I have Luminar and am beginning to build a folder of skies that I have taken. |

The story is a good nature story The bird box is clear; however the bird is a bit over processed for me. The green is also competitive with the birds. My suggestion is to tone down the greens and the mouth of the baby. |

I gave thought to the plank and decided to keep it in since it is balanced. It makes me wonder how much water it would it took to put it there and how much it would take to knock it down.
I'll play with your other suggestions. I did use clarity but will look again at my product. |

I do like what you have done. I like the center spikes, and they look like they have been spotlighted. You said you used ambient light. Was it just above the dandelion? Your stems are clear, and the dandelion lends itself to monochrome. I like the choices you have made. |

Your Panted Bunting is stunning. The angle of the shot is as if you are on an equal plane looking right at the bird. The feathers are sharp, the colors beautiful. You cropped to include what is good. What a grand capture. The eyes have wonderful catch light. My suggestion is so nit picky that I add it only because you asked. I look at the bunting and my eye is then drawn to the dark green area in the bottom left corner up to the wing. It seems disproportionate to the rest of the dark areas of the image. If it could be lightened a bit, I think it would smooth the final look. |
