52 Mar 20 Comment The goose's teeth drew me into the image, then I went to its eyes. There is good drama here. Your colors are natural, and the crop is a good one. If I have any suggestion it is to barely darken the grass behind the goose. In my opinion it is only a bit too light. Mar 12th
52 Mar 20 Comment Mike, what a great image. I so like the reflection. The image is sharp and interesting as a nature story. That is what makes it fun. I think that the whole image would be improved if only a small amount lighter. Mar 12th
52 Mar 20 Comment What a beautiful bird, and you have composed it well. The feet are interesting and the feathers look beautifully painted. The leaf and stem to the far right draw my attention, and I would suggest removing the stem and blending/blurring the leaf a small amount more. Mar 12th
52 Mar 20 Comment I like the colors and clarity of the majority of your orchid. The reflections do not bother me. If you use the quick selection tool around the orchid, you can blur the background. I am curious what the others suggest to keep from blowing out the whites. That is the distraction for me in this image. I do suggest leaving more space at the bottom and sides, if you have it. 52 Mar 20 Comment What a regal image. The eyes are looking straight at me, and the hair at the ears gives great texture and interest. I like your crop and think it does what you wanted. I like the background green. It is a grand opposite that helps show off the color of the tiger. I look at it but come right back to the tiger. Mar 12th
52 Mar 20 Comment I very much like the reflection but also the water being kicked up. You did an excellent job pulling the color from the eyes. A small suggestion is to crop the tip top where there is debris with white dots on it. Mar 12th
52 Mar 20 Reply But Mike, in taking the picture would bracketing or perhaps photo stacking be a good way to prevent the blown out parts? Would different settings have worked better? Mar 12th
52 Mar 20 Comment Hmm. Perhaps. This is the original. I always tell myself to leave the numbers in the title for this reason. And then I don't. Mar 9th
