52 Nov 19 Comment You have captured well what you described. The scene feels cold and severe. The trees take me through the image however, the shadows give the image the cold feeling. Were you on a highway? How far were you from this scene? Nov 10th

I like your treatment of the rocks; however, what I notice is that your water is brighter than the background rock it is reflecting. I opened the original to check, and it reflects that color much more naturally. In my opinion tone down the water color a bit. It has more orange in it than the surrounding area. Otherwise this is a beautiful shot. Nov 10th
52 Nov 19 Comment This is a fun image with swirls leading my eye through the center. The colors work well together. I find the right side clear but the far-left side is a bit soft. I'd crop the left just a bit to balance the image. Nov 10th

52 Nov 19 Comment Well then, let me tell you how much I like your original original. You have handled shadows and contrast well, bringing out good color on both sides of the water. The sky is beautiful, and the clouds have good texture in them. This is a wonderful view of fall foliage. Nov 10th
52 Nov 19 Comment At first, I'm drawn to the tufa but there are so many other appeals to this image. The variance of colors draws me in as well. I like the circular pattern of the shoreline and the reflections in the water. I do agree with Mike's suggestion about the sky. Another beautiful image, Sharon. Nov 10th

52 Nov 19 Comment Usually I like your ideas and treatments but this time I like mine. I like the grass because it grounds the image and takes me into the rest of the scene. What I like best about the image are the rocks, and your crop seems to minimize them for me.
