I've attached it. Perhaps it is a shadow but I did not see that when I first looked. |

Mike, I don't have a strong opinion about your crop, rather I think the sand and shore birds are too bright. For me they fight with the main subject. I also would remove the blue something at the very bottom as it appears to be litter on the beach. For me the best handling of shadows is somewhere between the original and final products. |

Judith what a fun image that brought an instant smile to my face. I like the suspended feet, and the small color of the feeder. The hair on the squirrel is fun, and the bokeh is good.
Well done.

What a treat. The moth is tack sharp, and I would not change anything. You have presented a wonderful image. I very much like the hint of green leaves in the background. It grounds the image. I found myself looking a while at the moth then noticing the leaves barely presenting themselves in the background.

John, what a treat the birds/nest/eggs present. I like the nature story and how you have presented it. I don't remember how you feel about cloning/altering the true nature story. I would suggest removing some of the brownish/red leaves in the lower left as well as some of the larger branches near the birds' faces. Additionally I would pull as much as you can from the upper bird's eye. This is a lovely nature story. |

Carol, you have added great texture to the sky. I like the drama of it. The colors pull me into the image. The plateau gives base for the sky. It adds just enough to give nature information but the dramatic sky is the picture. Very nicely done. I think I prefer the original plateau's color. It seems more natural. |

Like Carol, I like the nature story, especially with the other bird in it. I also think cropping from the bottom a small bit would help the whole image. I very much like how you have treated the image. Your final blue feathers seem true to the bird, and the eye treatment is quite good. I am being quite picky but since you want to exhibit the image, I will tell you that the upper left corner needs to blend a bit more. It looks like it has been cloned. There is a line difference. |

I wrestled with the crop decision because I also like the small islands. In this case I kept hearing the question, what is my focus? I cropped as such. However it is good to hear your suggestion. |
