52 Jan 19 Comment Well, Mike, I'm glad the story is not sad; although I like the title and think this image works with it. I am bothered by the second penguin as I don't think it is clear. I'd crop it out, placing the main penguin on a left side power point. Or if you like all the setting, simply clone the second one out. Jan 9th
52 Jan 19 Comment Judith, I like your shot and think you have caught it in good light. I like showing part of the bench as it gives context to the image. However, it should be a simple crop giving some of the bench but not too much. I think you should get rid of the branch that is at the hawk's breast.

52 Jan 19 Comment I like your nest. Two things come to mind as I view the image. The water is too dark blue, and there is a lot of busy-ness in the image which detracts from the nest. A crop would focus my attention more on the subject. Jan 9th
52 Jan 19 Comment Carol, I like this. Your fish is well shot, with good color and texture. I like the slight blue in the bottom right corner, and I would like to see it a bit more throughout to hint at water; however this is minor...just a thought.

52 Jan 19 Comment what I want to address first is how well you have processed your image. You have brought out richness in the stone and sky. The textures are rich. The path leads me up to the wonderful holes which expose the sky. I say very well done. Jan 9th
