Thank you for comments. I waited to hear from you because I am going to enter this in a club competition. I will raise shadows on the shell. I do like the water as is. |

I share the praise given by others. This is beautiful. What I first noticed is that I am glad you added the original because I can see the grand way you have handled the blues in your image. Very well done, and great image. |

Backgrounds can be tricky. Your vignette doesn't bother me, and while I usually like some background context, I do like Mike's crop as well as his burning the hair. This is a fun and interesting shot. You have captured a great facial expression. |

John, I like the diagonals which first caught my attention. The log gives good context, colors seem true to nature. A good shot. I recently read that red mushrooms are poisonous. |

Great diagonals that help present strong colors. I think the dock detracts and would remove it. The textures help create good interest, and the flower placement pulls my attention. Lines lead me all over the image. |

I like how the fog has blurred the background. Your colors work well together. I think, however, that the dear is too clear for what you were trying. The dear and the foliage are not equal in your artistic approach. I think the same crop in your original would be interesting. |

OH WOW! I am surprised that this is a white sky and not a lot of post processing. Your bird is strong. I love the textures and light shining through the wings. It is sharp and strong. Kudos! |
