This is a winning image. What great action and clarity. I like everything about this. The wings are wide spread, the talons literally sharp and clear. The eye is figuratively sharp.
I am curious what it might have looked like with rain. I trust your instinct to remove raindrops but in another circumstance raindrops could have added something to the shot.

The veins on this philodendron are amazing and capture attention beautifully. My eyes did wander around the image to discover other patterns, and I found the lower left leaf quite interesting right at the dip. In my opinion the blue sky on the right could be a bit softened. That is simply an opinion, and you might disagree. I think it keeps me from going to the main attraction which is the X made by the leaves and stems. |

Tom, this is an interesting bird. The wings are the highlight of the image. I like how wide spread and colorful they are. The water drops add to the story. I do find it a bit soft at the head and neck. I very much like the colors of the image as they work well together. Usually brown water is not pretty but it works very well in this case. |

My first reaction is how very sharp all of your lines are. The image has great texture. There are many leading lines and you focus attention on the foreground, then my eyes are taken throughout the image. Your colors seem quite true to nature. This definitely is reality not art.
Well done.

Carol, this is quite impressive. The bluish spot on the right of the mountain seems the same as an area on the lower mountain. I viewed it as a shaded spot and felt no need to remove it. I am not distracted by it. If you are describing something else I don’t see it. I like what you have done with this shot. It captures the beauty of the area quite well.
On looking at this one more time I noticed a reddish protrusion just below the left tree reflection. What is that? I would remove it and the branches just below it but would keep the branches at the left bottom. They add to the story for me.

On a diagonal, sharp eye capture, stick in mouth which makes me think it is headed to its nest so it must be early spring, and clear feathers and feet. All done well.
Another winning shot from you.

I did think about that. In the end I like the extra leaf moreso because the right side has no distractions. I felt it gave a bit more info to the image rather than have an isolated thistle.
