Yes, I saw the green thing and wondered what it was. Good image even with all the commotion. |

I hope you don't mind my discussing the image. I can see how reflections could cause odd reflection spots. One thing I see, but don't understand is the two boys on the left seem to have different shadows on the left and right of their heads. In the right image the slight shadow is on the right of their heads and on the left image the shadow is on the left side. Maybe it's the boy's blue arm or the colors on his blue sweater that only look like shadows. Not criticizing, just wondering? |

All your comments are very interesting. Some like it darker, some like it lighter. SO---- I redid the image, putting the ghost train on the dirt road, making it a bit lighter and a little transparent. I added some depth to the mountains (which won't work on a large screen) and cropped the image so the train was more of the image. The real affect of the view is when you drive the freeway and see the abandoned hole in the mountain -- what went wrong??? |

Did you use your W3 to take this image? When I look at the shadows, it looks like the flash on the W3 was used. The disparity on the sweater looks to me to be the flash of a piece of dust in the air in front of only the right lens of the W3. I have found that sort of round flare in many images I take with the flash on my W3. |

Another interesting (but different) phantogram. Into the sand, not up out of the sand. |

Interesting combination of the abandoned slate hut, the trees just behind and the beautiful mountains, with snow, in the background. Great composition and image. |

Good suggestion to have the ghost lighter. I'll try it. Actually the train was going into the tunnel and it had another engine at the end of the train. That made it look like it was coming out of the tunnel. I can't imagine what the engineers felt when they discovered this end of the tunnel was not in the right place. |

Yes. Families are forever and pictures help made it so. And a 3D image if the future will be all the better. Even the little doll in the back is smiling. |

Lots of surf boards. Too bad the beach and ocean waves were not visible at the end of the beach access alley. I watch a good surfer and feel the urge to enjoy a great wave, but in my older years, a surf ride might be my last. Nice image. |

Yes, it's exactly what you called it. Too bad that the only part of the silhouette that is in focus is the foot, but as you say it shows action. |

Great image and interesting composition. I liked the white walls and red trim. |
