Thanks for this original image. When I look at this original image I can see that the cactus tops are well above the wood frame but the parallel image above has the cactus tops below the window. The anaglyph image has the tops a little above the window and it does look more like a phantogram. When I enlarge the anaglyph image to 8.5 X 11 and print it, it does make a fairly good phantogram laying on my desk. It's not as good as the images in your book of cactus and other plant images. I like the image called "Cactus Tall" and when I look at that image at about 40 degrees, the cactus stands up vertically above the page by about 6 inches. |

Now the alignment is right on and there's no shadow. Well done. |

Now I see. What I first saw as a car is a house in the background and what I saw as a snow drift is a roof top. Now I recognize the other houses behind the tree. Thanks. |

The alignment is right on in this one and the colors are well saturated. If you still have the photoshop copy of this image where you added the clouds, you might move the cloud layer over to the right in the right image to get rid of that dark line between the clouds and the rocks. |

Nice image of the ice storm we had here in Portland. Obviously, the image is adjusted to the horizontal as the icicles are straight down. But the background and the car seem to on a steep hill. Tell me a little more about the composition. On the last days of the ice storm we had some real bizarre icicles. A couple had the original icicle and then it split into 2 icicles and then into 3 or 4 down at the bottom. I wish I had taken a picture. It makes me want spring and summer to come to see this image. |

why don't you add the "original" image to your comment here and I can save it and look at in with my 3D shutter glasses in SPM. |

A little flat, but a nice image of the end of the race. I know how it is when you see something you like and you just don't have time to take the pictures. I like to play around in photoshop and since this is rather flat to start with, I wondered if I could help the second boat a bit and add more depth to the image. I hope you don't mind! But here's a parallel view of what I came up with. I gave the second place boat about 1/2 a boats advantage and pulled back the first place boat to see the dragon's head. Then I added some depth to the whole image by skewing one image some. If you look close, you can probably see several artifacts of my efforts. |

To me this is not that good as a phantogram. I like to see the image of the surface that the item is setting on (after being adjusted for perspective) at the window. That way the image can be set on a flat surface and the item will be standing up above that surface. In this image the ground seems to be way below the window and the objects are just at the window. It seems to also be taken from above and not at ~45 degrees where phantograms work best. Even as a macro image, a phantogram can work well if it sets on a flat surface and is taken at 45 degrees. Nice normal macro 3D image. |

Great image! It seems like I have seen this image or one a lot like it before. Have you entered it in a PSA Exhibition? The road leads one's eye to the church and up to the blue roof and to the cross. Very well done. |

It's an interesting story and 3d image. I looked at your image in Group 16 and I like that image much better. It clearly shows the 2 baby birds and their mother. In the Group 16 image you have removed the shadow caused by the W3 flash as well. This 3D image shows the overall view good, but I see the tell tale shadows of the W3 flash that makes it hard to see the babies. I try not to use the W3 flash. Someone had used a little mirror in front of the flash to point the flash at the ceiling and not directly at the subject. he said it helps. Nice image. |

Nick, It's a great view. But the post processing of the Cha-Cha images seems to not have been done. There's a lot of vertical nonalignment and rotation between both L/R views. There's an odd border along the right side of the arches in the parallel view that looks like you used PhotoShop to add some clouds and the clouds got shifted somehow. You might want to correct these things. A quick pass with SPM and the auto align with the cross-eyed view makes the image look great. Otherwise, like I said it's a great view. |
