Great image when I looked at it with SPM and 3D glasses. On my monitors it looks small and with 3 images , it seems rather flat and hard to see the 3D affect. A bit wider image separation for the images would have made it better. Using SPM and glasses I can see all the pillars, near and far and it's a much more interesting image. I kind of wish I was there in person. |

Great image! I agree with the others about the composition. It reminds me of when I was a kid in Wyoming back in the 40s. I can remember it being 40 below one winter. "We had to walk 2 miles to school - up hill both ways?" Ha Ha. Really only 2 blocks to school. We complained, but on the week end we'd sled and sky all day no mater how cold it was. |

I agree with the other comments. I have noticed that you like things on a cloud background (nine other images here in 68). Even this hand has been used at least 3 times with this ball, cards and Old Faithful. I tried to read what was on the ball. It looks like "Official *** *** League" ?? |

Interesting view of the tree. Lots of depth to study to see how the tree really is. Good focus and all. I wonder how they got the tree to grow is that round spiral mode. |

Using Photoshop, I made a layer for each of the people, the left wall and the tree. Then I removed any image in the layers and filled the individual layer with various levels of black. The back wall was 100% black up to the front most person which I filled with almost white. Each other person and the tree was various levels darker as can be seen in the depth map (Original 3). I then lightened things like the branches and balls on the tree, peoples arms and faces and other things I wanted to have a little 3D affect. The left wall had to be blended from black to white to make it look like it was perpendicular to the back wall. After I had my depth map, I used the "Depth map" feature in SPM (under the Edit tab) to generate the L/R 3D image pair. I checked out the new 3D image and re-worked my depth map until I got what I thought looked good. If you want more details let me know. |
