68 Dec 18 Reply The mushrooms were obviously a real 3D image. Each of the gnomes are 2D - 3D converted. After making a duplicate so I have 2 images, I mostly use the layer tool in PS and crop out a small section and move that part in the right image just 1 or 2 pixels to the left to bring that part closer to the viewer. I also use the warping and skewing tools to bring parts in or out of the window. Move the part in the right image to the right and it goes back and visa versa. I have to then look at it cross eyed or put in SPM to see how well it worked. It takes time but that's the fun of 2D to 3D converting. Dec 27th
68 Dec 18 Reply Thanks for the suggestion - if you ever get back to group 68 give me more details about how the shadows look. These 3 fellows all came from different images. The flutist was facing the other way and had a lot of shrubs in front of his leg. The leader was actually holding a hammer and leaning against his front door nailing up a Christmas wreath. The fiddler was standing in front of some trees pretty much like you see him. The toadstools were growing in that group out in the lawn and so interesting I had to photograph them. Dec 23rd
68 Dec 18 Comment I sent a comment back with the others I sent, but I don't know what happened to this one. Anyway, it's a good 3D image with the text out in front and all. I wonder if everything is really all red - the house, the lights and tent? The other thing I wonder about is some of the lights are in one eye and not in the other as if it were taken by the "Cha-Cha" method - do you know why? Happy Holidays to you too. Dec 14th
68 Dec 18 Comment Interesting description of the hall and a great picture to show its character. It's always amazing to me how rich people lived in the past and to think of the only purpose for this hall was to walk on bad weather days. Lots of portraits and the sofa with the overhanging curtains so the walker can rest form the exercise. Again - very interesting, the iso of your camera and the low light to protect the hall. Dec 10th
68 Dec 18 Comment Nice "bug in a flower" image. The last time I got such a chance I was really excited to snap the image before the insect flew away. The Rose has good color and depth and the bee is right there in 3D just ready to fly away. Dec 10th
68 Dec 18 Comment Interesting colors - the red offset by the lavender and green. I'd like to be in the green chair with a couple of good friends to talk with. Dec 10th
68 Dec 18 Comment Looks like a great place to spend a Christmas season - with the warm sun and a tropical breeze in ones hair. Inviting image! Dec 10th
