Hi Stuart, Yes I did think I had too much sky too! I do like the treatments from Topaz that you used and the image is much improved. Many thanks |

Adrien, with your lens at 200 mm maybe she did not think you were photographing her. The color version is much softer and shows her pretty earrings, whereas the black and white has a much harsher look. It brings out her strength and makes me think of the difficulties in life she may have faced. Definitely a thought provoking portrait. |

Albert, the Buddha has a wonderful expression. You are not taking someone else's art but rather preserving the Buddha's image to show to the rest of us, who would not have the opportunity to see this rare statue, so thank you for that.
I like the infra red effect on the trees. To me they are a good contrast with the darker statue. |

Ed, it is wonderful that the mural seems unscathed by the fire, and to me the contrast with the rest of the damage is striking. Your photo tells a moving and evocative story. The composition and the treatment of the image is spot on, to my eye. Well Done! |

You did a great job with the tattoos! I did not notice them until I looked at the original. You caught her sweet expression and brought light to her face very well. I like the sepia effect you choose, but would be interested to see how it would look with a classic vintage black and white treatment. It must have been a very interesting photo outing! |

Colin, I really like the triangular pose. It is dramatic and unusual, in my view. I would be interested in lighting arrangements too. Well done! |
