Jack, I do see the advantages of the white vignette but on the whole, prefer the darker version as it shows more of the contour of the land. |

Adrian, I was there the same year but sadly did not have the advantage of mobile bedrooms on a truck. It was before the Iceland became so popular which was a nice perk. Both images, the horizontal and the vertical have many attractions for me. The portrait has really grown on me and I feel, in my opinion, to be the stronger image. Definitely one for the wall! |

There is much to look at Ed. I can see why the window caught your eye. It does make me speculate on the artist I feel it has it has an Asian feel. I like the fencing in front as it is more like a street photo. To my taste I might have cropped it more squarely by using the perspective tool in LR. Thanks for an intriguing image. |

Hello Colin, Welcome to group 47!
Well done on capturing the moment of the hunt.
The stump is very sharp and textured. I feel the wings could use a little more contrast. Thanks for an interesting image. |

Albert I really enjoy all the architectural detail and styles, especially in the windows. You have caught the snow piling up on the little posts and the trees. The tight framing concentrates my eye on the Synagogue. I do wonder how the view would be if you stepped forward with a wide lens?
Thanks for a very interesting image. |

Thanks Albert. Your comment is a good reminder to slow down and check the aperture and film speed and before pressing the shutter. A very good reminder! |
