Thanks for the comments, John. I do agree that adding contrast to the middle of the image would help and will work on this. Many thanks |

Thank You Ed for the revised image. The lightening of the foreground is an improvement, I think |

Jack I agree this is definitively too close for comfort! Hoping the grapes will survive and that California will get relief soon. Thank you for a meaningful image. |

Don, your image is stunning and it is amazing this was taken 2004. It is always fun to mine the archives with all the up to date software, I find. I think I do find it stronger without the reflection, but this is subjective. Many thanks

You had a good eye to catch the Pelican, Ed. I agree that it is nice to see them both enjoying the sea. I might also try different versions of color and wonder how it would look as a pure black and white, but this might be nitpicking. Thanks for a nice image and enjoy that new lens! |

I really like the mysterious ship in the mist Albert. I am glad you took several pictures, as I can see many other versions with just the ship alone or with just one of the waves. Your treatment of the fog really adds to the sense of mystery. |

I did not know this church, John, so thanks for introducing it to me. Having looked it up I feel you were right to concentrate on just the Dome, as it seems, to me, to be the most interesting part of the church. I really like your processing treatment of the building, showing the intricate architectural details. The clouds provide a perfect frame |

Lovely to see the Cathedral again! I was interested in the Font which was not there when I visited a few years ago. The Hdr treatment works very well and is not obvious at all. The fact you hand held this at Iso 200 is amazing, and, as you say, is a testament to the modern cameras.
Thanks for a great image. |
