Jack, I really like the details of the courtyard and windows, so wondered if a crop of the roof at the bottom wound make this area bigger. You would still have an expanse of roof with all its warm detail. Croatia is definitely on my list! |

Don, the focus stacking worked well to produce a very sharp image. It really brings out the details in the leaves and bloom. It is eye catching in the black and white treatment. I think it wound print very well. |

This reminds me of an Ansel Adams image, Albert. The blacks are stunning and the lines of the glacier take me eye to the peak. your focus is very sharp which I know can be tough in a helicopter. The beautiful clouds make the image for me. Well done on a wonderful image |

Ed, I could not get an idea of how big the bird is so I looked it up and see it is quite large. There were some examples and it must be hard to capture. I did see one with the sunrise behind it which was interesting. I really like the black sky and the way you captured the dynamic pose of the bird. |

I like your image without the flip John, as the big pipe leads into the scene. The little ladder does indicate a story telling element to me as I imagine how a person has to climb that to check on things! I really like the repetition of the pipes and the sharp focus. |

I like the flip Adrian. It does lead my eye to the counter weights which are the main focus of the image. Good suggestion! |

Welcome Adrian! You live in a lovely town. I have visited it often! You have caught the contemplative gaze of the young engineer beautifully. Her smudged face and hands really add to this environmental portrait. I have recently discovered the new texture slider and really like it as well. Congratulations on a striking image. |
