Interesting image, John. I like gradient from dark to light.I was trying to remember a similar image maybe in an art gallery. Were you basing it on another image like you did with Andre Kertez in a previous month? |

Thanks so much for the comments. I have been away so did not reply before. I like the tighter crop and should remember "the less is more" more often. Having said that I still like the wider view, with the line of the grave stones leading to the parking lot. |

This, to me, is where black and white images are so much more effective than the original color. Your treatment of the grass and rocks is very effective. Hope the owner comes back to reclaim the boat. Thanks for a great image Ed |

I really like the different shapes Jack - the rectangles of the windows, the triangle of the roof and the semi circle of the chimney. There is so much to look at with the roof tiles and the different bricks of the building. To my mind it is a very satisfying image |
