I feel your image is striking, and like Jack's, is not a conventional composition, so it causes lots of reaction and is more memorable. I really like the idea of giving your image a bit of time and distance , then tuning it and looking at in the mirror, to see if improvements are noticed. |

The infrared treatment is striking Jack. I think your composition of the scene is unusual and gets the viewers attention. I suppose the more conventional approach would be to crop about three quarter of the foreground dune, but I think I still prefer your composition |

You have caught the expression ans concentration of the subject very well. The sepia works very well and you did a lot of work to get rid of the distracting pieces of the background. I do agree that the vignette is a bit dark on the right side |

Amazing shot, Darrell. Was this taken at night? The clouds contrast very well with the face of the building. I would love to get to shoot there. |

This is on my bucket list as well! The clouds are beautiful and the main subject of your image. Also I could not help wanting to see more of the distant mountains on the right. |

The focus in your image is wonderful. I see your aperture was f22. Being an out door shot the lighting is beautiful and is very dramatic, more like a studio shot, to my mind. Thanks for a great image. |
