Thanks for the good wishes, Albert and the very best to you for the New Year.
The low point of view you used to capture the image really adds impact. I especially like the repetion of the bridge towers. The sky is very strong, dark and light in just the right places. Thank you for a wonderful image. |

The image is nice and sharp Ed. I agree about leaving the blow holes there as they are part of the scene. Makes me want to go for a walk on the beach! |

I am sorry I did not make it to Pittsburgh for the conference and I do enjoy taking" old rusty things". Don it is a wonderful image with the shapes and texture of the machinery. I like Ed's comments about the symbolism of times past too. |

What a good spot you found to catch this lovely image, Darrell.
It is beautiful and I agree with Ed. It would be good on the wall. |

The bridge is beautiful, John and the different shapes of the windows in the building are well captured. I do find the man on the left hard to see. Maybe that radial filter in Lightroom could lighten him up a bit. It would be fun to sit at those tables and contemplate the scene. Thanks for a great image. |

I like the peaceful mood of this image and the nice contrast between the pillars and the paved floor. I agree that a slight movement on your part would have isolated the cross. Always hard, I find, to take the time to fully explore the scene, but worth it when one does. I like the background of the gate and building and do not find it "busy" as it is fun for me to explore the whole image. |
