Thank you for adding your observations. It seems you saw every detail. I'm happy this composite has been so well received by the group. |

Thank you for such kind words. Putting all of the pieces together was, as Shakespeare said, "a joyful trouble." |

This is high praise coming from (as you know) someone whose work I admire. |

Yes, it did take a lot of time to create the illusion of depth but just think of the fun I had, as we all have in achieving a desired effect. |

Thanks for your observations. I feel that cropping the top would lose the support of depth the arches lend to the line of novices. |

What a fun image. Every city should have transportation as you depict. Of course, the temptation would be to start a game of three-dimensional billiards. The colors you added could give rise to pinball as well. It must be hard to create such an image with your tongue firmly planted in your cheek. Nice work. |

The steps you took to achieve your final image successfully created a high-pitched, irritating visual image. Your use of "Foggy Night" enhances that feeling. In addition, the great blue heron, such a graceful flier, contrasts and draws attention to the agitation in the waves. Your goal was to avoid realism, and you achieved that goal while crafting an image that has strong feeling. |

I don't know what a quantum realm is so I can only comment on what I see. The surfers coming into the frame and going out of the frame on a diagonal create tremendous movement. The surfer trying to regain his balance adds to that movement. Well done! You may have tried this, but I'm curious what it would look like to have one of the surfers tangled in the "web" of the background. In any case, "less is more" really works here. |
