That's what I see. I'm sure it's an easy fix.

I know you're just waiting for me to say the 3rd alligator would violate the "less is more" doctrine. This is such a well rendered image one can see the joy on your face as you created it. Have you given any thought to having only the tip of the alligator's snout show as the deer approaches? There's no suspense unless the viewer senses danger. The alligator in the foreground emerging from the water REALLY looks like its emerging from the water. Nice work, indeed. |

I agree with Brad. You have the perfect book cover for a children's book waiting to be written. Well, almost perfect. I agree that the sheep adds a lot, but I side with the people who prefer no tryptic. The setting is so lovingly rendered that I find the tryptic distracting. Who wouldn't want to walk into this image and spend an afternoon! |

Welcome to Group 54, Kirsti. I agree with a lot that has been said, including that this is an impressive image (and that your granddaughter is beautiful). I agree with Brad that the familiar stones are a distraction. I also feel the lighting is a bit harsh, but in spite of those correctable suggestions, I see this as an enjoyable science fiction depiction. |

Your blending techniques have produced a wonderful image. The blues and the reds are balanced very well and are quite pleasing to the eye. I agree with a lot that has already been said. My only concern in this image is the face I can't help but see in the fog. The eye, nose, and teeth are more clearly seen in the first Original on the side of the final image. I think the image is successful, but I can't help but see the face once I've seen it. |

Thank you for your reinforcing feedback. I've been exploring more balloon and color gradient composites and your enjoyment of this image will help keep me going. |
