Thank you for your feedback. This composite does violate a rule or 2 by making the viewer take time to visually "walk" through the image. I've attached the image with your suggestion of taking the piece out of the trap door. I like that one, too. |

As Whistler said, "An artist is not paid for his labor but for his vision." The lake forming the waterfall is very believable and the photo on the cell phone gives one pause. I feel the dishonesty in the medium is not inherent just as there is not dishonesty in banks. In any case, this is a very well thought out composite and an enjoyable one to look at. |

I'm glad you like the image. Future iterations may address you suggestions, but I spent HOURS putting this together that I just want to enjoy it as it is for a while. I have attached a different chess nightmare which has exactly what you suggested. I worked on this from time to time over 5 years. I'm either persistent or stubborn. |

I commend you on the use of lighting and of the use of trees. I'd like to suggest removing the pelicans, focusing on the trees, and cropping the top and bottom of the image after you remove the pelicans. The trees become the center of attention and are a much stronger attraction than the pelicans. However you choose to revisit this image, your have a very good base to work with. |

I looked at your "peeling paint" image from March and applaud your creativity for turning paint into sails. March's boat seemed to be in calm waters whereas April's boat seems to be in rough waters. The white lines, here, serve to create a violent sea. Nice work on both boats. |
