I agree with Brian, especially since we read from left to right. Strong portraits are those that face left because we read from left to right and the portrait stops the eye from going off the canvas. Having the lightning at the right has the same effect. It stops the eye and increases the strength of the lightning. I'm not a fan of Topaz Glow though I use other Topaz plug-ins. I'm not sure the haunted house is dark enough. That's probably a matter of taste. Definitely worth revisiting. |

This is quite a screen, and the reflection adds so much! There is a combination of the delicate quality of the flower and the "good fences make good neighbors" aspect of the screen. I do have one suggestion. The flower should bend with the screen. It kind of looks like the flower is on a different layer in PS and doesn't conform to the bends in the screen. However, let me know when you manufacture these screens. I want one. |

I'm sticking to my guns. I like the shoe. I feel that without the shoe the man's shoeless foot is too dominant. I agree with Brian that the man's face is a definite draw which is why I wonder why there is so much discussion about the shoe. I agree with Marie that the foot with the shoe is resting awkwardly. Another vote for the shoe. I feel that without the shoe, the image has no real bottom. It kind of drifts off into an area of reduced opacity. In any case, thank you all for your feedback and discussion. |
