50 Feb 21 Comment Hope you found info on him. Makes me start to look at my mothers and late wife collections Feb 23rd
50 Feb 21 Comment Sorry for the late review. Tough subject. The last attempts I made on featuring tires one weekend included a tire changing tent at a race (road america) where the tent color added focus, race car tires (slicks) after the race that lost a lot of tread and some stacks of tires outside the pits. With that in mind I like Jeff's suggestion to do some cropping and blurring to minimize the equipment and background detail. The bright white tire covers do provide a nice contrast to the tires on the trailer. Feb 20th
50 Feb 21 Comment Sorry but to me the strong wire fence pattern background distracts me too much - it fights with the bottles for attention, but the pattern through the bottles is another story. I'd also agree that colors would really add to confusion.
May I also add "I NEED TO ESCAPE". Come on spring, shot #2, racing and an open zoo..
FYI I was reading my recent Garden & Gun mag (planning my escape) and saw a reference to a still life artist (Laurin McCracken)that supposedly has a great touch with glass objects that I want to check out. Maybe something to encourage me to explore still lifes like yours.

50 Feb 21 Comment I have to agree with Cindy but I've also had the pleasure of seeing a lot of you Smokey Mountain images and the old cabins, water and mountains. I do like the framing. Feb 20th
50 Feb 21 Comment On the difference between Jeff and Cindy's suggestions, I'd do what you like. I see merits in both I prefer your orientation with the strength of the rows pulling my eye in. I definitely like the B&W. I also like the clouds orientation in Jeff's. And for the comment on visual interest, I suggest a trip for those people through Iowa. This view reminds me of some scenery in State of Washington. Nice lens choice and horizon placement. Feb 20th

50 Feb 21 Comment I have to agree with Cindy's and Jeff's versions. The suggested larger image is too busy. I know your new to PSA so welcome. When I joined my focus was PJ (sports) depicting the expressions of the amateur athlete and competitions. I found getting comments from several people then going with what made me happy worked best for me. Feb 20th
50 Feb 21 Comment Paul - I'm still learning to work with water so I can't add anything to Jeff and Cindy's comments. Nice job.

50 Feb 21 Reply Michael - The milkweed image will apply to March. I wasn't clear in my instructions to Paul.
Thanks
