I agree with David's comments about darkening the tree and lightening the house. I also would not crop the tree on the left. Great shot. |

I tried two things for your consideration. I tried darken the area above the column top (where valence lighting might be). That area liked a little too light. I also cropped to deleted the handrails. Just thoughts. Your version is great. |

Paul - It is the rugby goal post. I left it in because I felt it gave important info to the viewer and gave a reason for the player on the left being cut off. For competitions, I'm using a new version with more of the image on the left so the viewer knows where the try (goal) line is. |

I like the color image also (brings car forward) but Cindy's suggestions help the mono. I can imagine both versions on a large print. |

Agree with the cropping and like Jeff's edits. I think David point about the softer tones in blue give an interesting feel. |

Looks like the first image caught her with the sun in her eyes or she didn't want you taking her picture. I think the second edition you did looks better. Like the mono. |

Great shot Bruce. Looks like the opponent is starting to practice clearly showing pain. |

Agree with Bruce's crop and Gerry's comment. Also add to difficulties are the glass that gets pretty marred up by mid-season and bad lighting at some rinks. Next time the puck. |

Great shot Joe. Agree with Gerry on cropping a little more on the right. Not sure if shooting at 2.8 would help with DOF without decreasing sharpness and impact of flying dirt and horse tail. Seems they don't make the arenas deep enough but you did position yourself to avoid a lot of ads. I assume in barrel racing there are minimum distances between barrels and to the side rails for safety of rider and horse. Maybe also a barrel color change? Be a good question for Marty Welter (PSA WI State Membership) on things he does. |

I'm afraid your concern with the face being obscured probably correct. Similar situation with motorcycle racing where dark visors don't do as well clear ones. |
