50 Jun 19 Comment Very nice texture. Definitely a better mono shot. Agree with some more contrast. Don't want to see the light reflection (light color) deleted as in David's version. A lot of interesting things to see. Jun 13th
50 Jun 19 Comment Very nice. Like the reflections on the table top. Would like the bottom of the boat but just a little. Jun 13th
50 Jun 19 Comment I prefer the mono. Also agree with the cropping. I do like David's solution but would still crop on the left. Nice job on the water combining movement and the silky feel. Jun 13th
50 Jun 19 Comment Well done however I'd like to see if some added contrast in the clouds help or hurt (may distract from the train and smoke)

50 Jun 19 Comment Agree with some more contrast and cropping (especially the sky which seems flat). Jun 13th
50 Jun 19 Comment I agree with Cindy. I've seen this scene in the past without the clouds and in color that are fantastic. This is a different take and equally interesting. Great job.

59 Jun 19 Comment Missed your image first time through. Sorry.
think I am leaning towards the uncropped. The backstop standard and acts to frame the picture. My eye goes to the Hawaii player (white uniform). I also like this angle because the fans aren't showing (I remember that past tourney images show spotty attendence which can be distracting).
I think both shots should get accepts in internationals with my preference the uncropped.

59 Jun 19 Comment Cliff diving can be very dramatic. I don't know the venue but some cliff diving shots/sequences I've seen show how close the diver is to the rocks as he passes then. Any chance for moving slightly to the right to get that view?
I haven't seen any sequence shots in PJ competition but have seen then in open PID. I leave verifying whether they are OK for PJ.
Also you might consider cropping slightly at the right to cut out the red shirt.
Nice sequence though. You're getting that spacing down better than I could.

59 Jun 19 Comment You are right about titles being required when submitted for an exhibition. Sometimes we haven't made that decision when submitting to digital dialogue. Also, all the exhibitions I've enter have stated that the titles "will not be read" during judging. Lightening the shadows is an option but I want to make sure it isn't too much editing - the PSA PJ editing rule that is in the judges hands. Jun 6th
59 Jun 19 Comment Excellent shot - soccer realism. Great background. Any merit in a little more cropping at top? Jun 6th
59 Jun 19 Comment Rule One, sure it's One? Sounds like Gibbs and Rule 10? Like the change up on prime focus. Might want to try playing with yellow/blue jerseys to attract the eye. Like sharpness of closest defender. Might want to see if cropping at top does anything. Jun 6th
59 Jun 19 Comment Nice shot Joe. Any way to darken the puck to increase the contrast with the pads? Jun 6th
