Like the sharpening but also like the frayed pocket. Still good shot. |

Like how the head is the focal point. Like Jeff's twicks (probably not a big issue until maybe the evaluation for top awards)
. Great shot especially letting our eye go inside. |

Great shot seconded. I think Cindy & Paul's comments cover the points. With the detail of the face it almost seems he is looking at you. I was thinking of whether to suggest cropping at the bottom but decided no - the fisherman's body needs anchoring and his fur cape needs to be fully visible. |

Interesting process/workflow. Not sure the saddle adds much in mono. Agree that a sharper decal, if possible, would help it be the focal point with the cylinders/fuel tubing/wiring an interesting background. You might want to consider a crop on the right. I like the strength in the picture and could see a large (to allow viewer to explore all the details) glossy mono or color print (color preferred so the decal and pinstripping pop) getting attention |

I like the mono, especially with the white helmet and white guard posts cropped and cloned out. As Jeff points out flipping would not be allowed in PJ but doesn't apply in mono or color that i am sure is done all the time (photographer choice). Right now I'm leaning how the unflipped leads me through the picture. I also like the mono sharpening - I can see the eyes |

Nothing more to add. As said, lots of options. |

Only suggestion would be to crop out leg and shoe to the right of the ref. I like the concentration of the players focusing on the ball and winning the race to the ball. I would like to crop out the ref but he doesn't distract from the story - in fact catching him in mid-air is a plus. |

I like the idea of featuring the blur of the brush but wonder if you can get a better image from the front? Also maybe for this angle, a faster shutter speed in needed? |
