Hi Paul - If you did correct, the repost still shows a little more board on right than left. Great shot. |

Now having seen that image and a Mandril Gerry Emmerich had in one of our Wisconsin contests, I told Jeff Klug and Ken Warning we need to take a road trip south.
Thanks for all your help and comments.

Not much to add to the three comments above. Older farms are great for interesting barns and out buildings. If close by, might be a great subject for a Spring picture - older tin roof and some green foreground. |

Great composition, vignetting and mood (dim lighting). Picture stirred memories of the architectural student days in me but about 15 - 20 years further back. For instruments I would find a ruling pen, ink well and triangle for straightedge. I'd go with wire rim glasses. Maybe an old bookkeepers eyeshade? Lose the pencil sharpener. Old desk great. Old grid paper books with worn bindings great touch.
How come we have gotten so into the detail?
Cindy, do you have an image on PSA website with lemur? |

Nice image. I like what Chuck did with the lightening to add the pop back into the cabin that the original color did. Wondering however if limiting the lighting to the cabin (deck to roof edge) would add additional detail to the cabin and downplay the grass and trees. |

Jeff and Cindy have a point. Maybe if woman was looking at something? Otherwise a well done portrait. |

Like this image Paul. Any thought about adjusting so top board joint straight (could raise slightly top doesn't hit on joint exactly). I like bike on left. |

Thanks for message Joe. We need to remember that during judging neither titles or text aren't read.
FYI, the Equalizer was a +/- 30 foot high hill (about a 70 degree incline). The biker had just finished the climb. The guy on the left is the climb master (safety person). The three people in the background are just spectators. The trail is the gravel with the pink line.
Will get you the Feb image this weekend. |

Gerry - I agree with Bruce. This background and crowd size doesn't attach attention as much as other shots I've seen you post. Should be an accept in Sports PJ and maybe PJ open depending on jury. |

Rapinoe, correct. Great catch. Interesting background - you planned it right? I try and watch womens soccer when it's on (not much in Midwest). Some will be surprised at the physicality and intensity. |

Phil I have to agree with Bruce's comments especially highly visible puck. Still the action is strong. Nice shot. Clear and crisp which I can't get. |

I like it. Shows the concentration. I'm thinking with Joe so equally important to the story they may want his face and shirt decals sharper. |
