Question, what if I could change the line on the top and bottom of the crash pad? Thoughts? |

I have to agree with Gordon and Jeff. |

I like what Jeff suggested. I also wonder if the three larger areas of paint primer (pealing paint) from the left side are a distraction?
Lot of great stuff in the shot. |

I agree with adding contrast.
Have you also tried rotating the whole original image (three elements)? |

Interesting effect. Boy and cross/birds add to the picture. Definitely mono vs color.
Any merit in darkening the church a little? |

Great illustration of need to check various angles. I like Original 2 leaving both the foreground and background rocks prominent.
I also agree with Jeff's comments. Interestingly I think the mono increased the stars over the color shots. Any merit in copying in some more stars without overpowering the strength of the rocks.
Last thought is any merit in cropping out some of the sky? |

Would cloning out the gaps in the back drop help? Agree with the whites comment.
Knowing the positions for shooting, this is a great shot. For the color, the vest colors are a major part of the picture and take Dirk "focus" concern away a little. But I like both equally, especially Dirk's expression. |

Thanks on room at front. Agree. Not sure on haloing but will check processing used. |

Surprised at the clarity for a 1/160 sec shot. Maybe crop a little on the two sides so less space on the right?
Great expression on cowboy. Maybe play with color to bring out calf face more and cowboy's clothes? |

Great catch. I have tried to watch lacrosse on TV and way too fast, especially the ball. No other suggestions, I think cropping is appropriate.
Contest wise not sure what is the formula for lacrosse. Maybe a shot with the ball in the air? |

Your soccer shots are amazing. Especially the expressions. You have on field credentials I take it, and well deserved.
You also photograph the SWSL which I caught couple times on cable in Milwaukee? Megan Rapinoe always impresses me though not sure why.
If you enter a contest probably the only criticism is the ball is blurred but for me the faces are the focus. |

No idea on acceptance. Wind surfer shots I usually see are acrobatic in nature and one surfer. Not aware of any wind surfer contests but would expect you might see on West Coast. |
