I would have to agree with David, too dark. How do you like the camera. Is it one of the smaller versions that are easy for traveling. |

I liked the balance of the original image and the slightly pitched roof edge. With the cropped version the roof line caught my eye. Not sure how to do it but could the trees be blurred? Great shot. |

Not much to add to Cindy's and David's comments. Definitely this is a mono shoot. Any merit in a little cropping on top?

This is a very interesting subject. I could see the color image in a PJ competition where the horses head dwarfs
the repairs. For mono I'd prefer just the head maybe with a couple people or crowd to show scale. The clouds form and interesting frame/halo around the head. You may want to do some editing to neutralize the base. Nice job with a unique subject. |

I too prefer the mono. For cropping I'd keep the babies head while keeping the crop of Carol (her black hair is a major element) so the eyes start to approach the 1/3 points. Nice image. |

I would keep trying. However things that may be hurting the results are the hair blocking Number 12's face, the low attendance of crowd, the judges may not care about BB (lack of interest in sport in that area of India) and possibly the saturation of BB pics. I like your cropping selection.
If you try PID-C, why not remove the spots (white numbers on the chairs to remove that possible distraction) |
