It is my thought that to include the second seal there should be more definition to it especially in the head/trunk area. I took your original into Topaz Photo AI and went to - sharpen then to refocus about 75%. I also felt there was a too heavy magenta cast on the scaly front of the main seal so I reduces the magenta in Saturation/Hue. Hope this helps and works for you. |

I cropped it way down to show you gigapixel on this image. I could only do 150dpi because of the image limit size. Just to give you an idea. |

Great capture of the great blues in action. I like your processing/cropping of the image to bring out all the details in the feathers, legs and feet and the sharpness of the heads, beaks and eyes. Leaving the small amount of grass on the bottom help distract from the swampy debris in the water. I feel the clean white area above the debris area helps create a nice separation that lessens the viewers eye from what could be a distraction. |

I think what you have done with cropping and the conversion to sepia has created an interesting image into a wonderful piece of art. Well done and nothing new to suggest. |

Such an ugly but beautiful creature. I am sort of torn between some of the suggestions of the others. Since the background seal is so out of focus it makes sense to me to crop it out. I took it a step beyond and cropped the bottom up quite a bit to just above the rock and also the back 1/3 of the seal. I also lightened the shadows on the chest a bit. I think by cropping something like this you retain the massiveness of the seal, show it's many battle scars and have great detail in the head area showing the eye, whiskers and the hair on the forehead. |

I have to agree with the others that the cats would show better if enlarged a bit. I might suggest you try something like Topaz Gigapixel to enlarge your crop and keep your resolution at 300 dpi. I have used the program several times with images that are a far reach and it works well. I also know that these images happen in a split second but feel your shutter speed was way to slow for any action. It is a general rule for best results that your shutter speed should be greater than your focal length. Still this is a great and exciting action shot. |

Nice action capture. I like the wing position out which often happens after a catch either on land or an aquatic. The whites of the bird a handled well with no blown out areas and good detail. The head, eye and vole are sharp and clear creating a great focal point for the viewers eye to land on.I do agree on Sharon's suggestion of toning down the green just a touch. A great nature story. |

A very striking pose with the light on the head and antlers. The catch light in the eye helps draw attention to the eye and head area. I like Mike's treatment of the background and foreground but feel his rendition of the elk's color is a bit off and should be lighter. They are really a majestic animal and this pose accentuates that feature. Nice catch. |
