Another great image. From the images I have also seen on your Facebook page your trip must have been fantastic and had some great opportunities and captures. I like Pamela's suggestion and the only other thing that catches my eye is the bright spot in the "Y" of the branches above the elephant's back. It did catch my eye immediately with my fist view of the image. In the original it does not appear to my eye as being as intense. Possibly cloning a few of the leaves around the spot would help eliminate the bright spot. |

A peaceful tranquil image. I think you caught the turtles in the right light as they bask on the rock. Colors appear to be natural and I do like your crop. I also think that toning down the background greens might help enhance the definition of the turtles on the rock. |

Ugly is beautiful. Wonderful image of a rare endangered bird. I think you chose wisely in your processing of this image by getting rid of the caging lines above. I like Mike's suggestion on the treatment of the outer feathering on the bird's chest to lessen the blue of the sky background. You might also consider darkening the shoulder / wing area to make it look more like the original. |

Love the symmetry the created by the plant and the damsel fly. The insect is sharp and crisp while the background is blended and muted making the damsel fly stand out nicely. your crop works well with this image. Nice work on this keeper. |

Nice shot and crop. Post processing is good but I would like to see a little less shadowing on the right cub's hind quarters. Definitely a keeper and great memory. I would love to get back to Katmai or Lake Clark in the near future as I love photographing the bears. |

Another masterpiece. I have to agree that the square crop works with this image. I also feel that Mike's suggestion of a little more space at the bottom crop so as to not cut off the bottom of the curved leaf. The clear uncluttered background is also a plus highlighting the hummingbird. A small possible nit pic would be to try and give the 2 or 3 flowers in front of the bird a little more definition through something like Nik Collection Vivenza. |

This image was taken in Central New Jersey. The plant / flowers were attracting many tiger swallowtail butterflies so that is what I started out photographing. At first I thought there were also bumble bees darting in and out and discovered that they were hummingbird moths. Several different colors but the reddish colored ones created the best images with the flower colors and greenery added in. The plant was very active with insects and the sun was in a great position in the late afternoon. |
