Another masterpiece. This image is presented perfectly, is sharp crisp and tells a wonderful story. As others have said print it. |

Judith, I for one have a hard time understanding and visualizing the makers intention in this kind of abstract nature photography. Being an OLD timer it is difficult for me to see, understand and comprehend this type of image as my mind can not see what you have intended for me as a viewer to see. I'm sorry for my inability to see things as the others do as I know it is a favorite style that you like working with but please continue with future images and the comments of others may eventually help me visualize this type of artistry.
I think if this was focused on one part of the image (a straight macro) such as the stamen and pistil inside the flower I could wrap my mind around that.
The greens and purples work well together but I also find the whites too bright. |

I like this image as well. What first caught my eye was the bright area by the head. I took the image back to raw and adjusted the shadows and highlights sliders and think I fixed the bright area without sacrificing the rest of the image.
I like your inclusion of the buds in the crop as well. |

What you have captured is a Silver Gull. A Fairly common species throughout Australia. I love shooting the bright red of the beak and legs as they usually make the image. In most instances they are fairly tame and easy to approach and get images of.
I have to agree with the others that this image should have a tighter crop with less water and rocks. Mike's suggestion of a little burn on the rocks could help immensely in bringing out the features of the Gull. |

Good Image. I love that there are three cranes in the image and all are in sharp focus and as Mike said the wings are in different positions giving the eye several places to focus on. I have to agree with the blue of the sky could use a little work as it was one of the initial eye catching moments I had.
Mike's tips are also good as points to consider with birds in flight. Overall nice shot. |

I like this image as a nature image and story. My only suggestion might be to take the LEVELS adjustment to around .85 to add a little more pop to the image and that puts less emphasis from the softer Green Heron's eye in the back. |
