Nice image. My only comment would be the same as Grahams in darkening the foreground to add a little more contrast and detail to that part of the image. |

Alan, Nice image. I think I have to disagree with your assessment of the image. I like the HDR image better because of the greater detail in the figure on the left and the wood carving on the right. Single shot image appears to kave a yellow hue because of the lighting and colors seem more natural in the HDR version. The rock color of the columns also appear more detailed. |

I have to agree with Graham. Image looks washed out and need more color and definition. The detail of the scene also is brought out much more in the edited version. |

Graham, This is a great image and in my opinion you can work the original some more to make it even greater. I played a bit. Lessened the shadows to bring out more detail in the beard. Cropped the left side to make it more a portrait, used ColorEfex 4 to bring out more detail in whole image and Imagenomics to smooth out some of the noise in the face.
Your thoughts on this. |

Nice capture. Great clarity and detail. I would change nothing.
Being that you have such great detail and clarity I would like to suggest that is is a young crocodile. I say this because caiman are a type of alligator and the crocs have lower front teeth that extend through the upper jaw and are exposed near the nostrils as in your image. Gators and caiman do not. It is also evident that this is a smaller croc due to the size of the grass it is resting on. |

Wonderful image. The white on white is a masterful job. I can't make any suggestions on this image. Well done. |

I have to agree with the others that the deer looks soft and out of focus. I think the degree of the crop is too much to keep the resolution of the subject and not make this look like a very artsy painting. If that is a future intent then I think that Sharon's idea with the crop is good thus making this a vertical image by keeping some of the foilage. |

John, I really like this image. It represents nature at it's finest. The beautifully colored mushroom setting inside two diagonal lines of logs and twigs and the damp, dark and decaying environment that mushrooms flourish in. I wouldn't change a thing. |

I like the coloring of the snail on the diagonal as you have presented the image. I have to agree with the shadow on the underpart of the snail which needs to addressed. I also feel that if you play with levels in adjustments in photoshop you may obtain more brilliant colors in the shell. |

Great capture. I think I have to agree with Mike on the crop. At my first glance of the image I had to do a double look to see what it was. I thought there was too much fur/hair competing with the face. I think the cropped suggestion makes it much clearer as to the baboon and his/her facial expression. |

Another wonderful image. Like the action and think I prefer your re-do better. I have to go off on my white bird tangent again with the lack of definition in some areas like the front part of the shoulders and some of the wing edges. Also I believe you have two different images from your burst shooting. The posted original appears to have less glaring whites on the shoulders and wings. Edited image has a rogue feather on the back wing, a much clearer image of the fish and a larger spray of water coming up. Again your second edited version exhibits much better. (For the record I also fail to see the yellow Mike was talking about). |

I see the Red Tide has made an appearance on your side of the state. Hope it is not as devastating as over here. They have also stopped discharging from Lake Okeechobee into the St Lucie outlet but are continuing to pump a lot of water into the Caloosahatchee River.
If Michael dumps a lot of water upstate the discharges could get even get heavier and worse. |
