49 Sep 18 Comment I have to agree with Alan's assessment fully. I would go a little farther and de-saturate the cyan tint in the foreground mountain giving the rocks a little more natural look. Sep 16th
49 Sep 18 Comment Alan, I felt this image looked too much an HDR image. Especially the upper third with the clouds. I played a bit with the image and lessened the HDR effect, reduced some of the shadows and added more detail to the mid-tones. Your thoughts? Sep 16th
49 Sep 18 Comment I agree with Alan about the missing of top part of the hat.
The forward hand is also soft. Not knowing your settings it is hard to tell with corrections with the depth of field.

49 Sep 18 Comment We are headed here in April for some birding photography. Can't Wait.
There appears to be some noise in the volcano and corrected it with Imagenmics - weaker noise. I also strengthened some mid-tone with levels that brought out some of the red glow of the volcano and the clouds. Your thoughts on the revisions?

52 Sep 18 Comment Mike, nice capture. I feel that you lightened it a bit too much and the bird is lost with the background. I tried playing with the mid-tone levels and then de-saturated the cyan water a bit and felt the this added some pop to the bird and also kept the true colors of the bird. Sep 16th
52 Sep 18 Comment Nice image. My initial feelings were the same as Mike's. I think it is the shadow of the frog as I thought it might be ET looking down at it. I think the complete shadow of the head needs to show especially in the DARK version. I also feel that Sharon's version has some merit after looking at that version. Sep 16th
52 Sep 18 Comment Like this image a lot. The water, rocks, mist and trees blend well to form a wonderful composition. I like the pano format and feel something would be lost with the crop that Sharon suggested as I feel you would lose the sense of the fast flow of the river. Sep 16th
52 Sep 18 Comment You did a great job on cropping. I felt the snake lacked a little pop in its presentation. I increased the mid-tone levels a bit and reduced the shadows a bit and added highlights. I think my rendition falls more into what Oliver was thinking but we went at it in different ways. Sep 16th
52 Sep 18 Comment Like this image a lot. The interaction and playfulness of the two kits is wonderful and I think being of 2 different colors is a bit of a plus. I felt the image lacked a little pop and adjusted the mid-tone levels a bit (see attached). Sep 16th
52 Sep 18 Comment Love the vertical image. The colors and the tones are perfect. The reflections are killer and create an optical 3D illusion that is unreal. I wouldn't change a thing. Sep 16th
