I have tried several times to include a version of the image that I worked on but it will not post. |

I like the image as well. I had the same thoughts as Alan about bringing out a little more detail with the amount of light you have showing in the background. I played a little and just adjusted the shadows slider to about 75% bring out more of the building and bridge detail but not changing the red of the sky too much. |

I too have to agree with Graham. I think the tighter crop really makes the image. Floor, BB lines and the shooters face are tack sharp while with the tighter crop the basketball is what shows motion/action (not the other two in the original). Even with the partial player in the back it gives a sense of a game going on. |

Nice image showing some fast motion with the rest ( tunnel and stop sign ) prominent and telling the story. Realizing you were shooting in the shade - I would like to see a little less of the heavy shadows on the tree limbs and the bank with the train tracks. |

I like the image a lot. My first impression beside the road and fence was the bison appear a little dark. I went to shadow adjustment slider and reduced the shadows about 50% I also cropped out the road and fence giving one the feeling of wide open ranges. |

Wonderful image as usual.
My concern is the foreground. I think the backs are too large and take up to much of the eye's focusing. I realize that at f6.3 and the other settings used it was a lighting thing and compromises had to be made. I thought that maybe if you cropped to just above your name (including the red head)it might help to ease my focusing problem on the rather large backs. You have already lost one foot to the backs so you are not going to be taking away from the main image/story. If you are doing competition with this you might also want to look to the right of the chest of your main bird there are two heads that may need attention that appear to be whited out. It is really a beautiful bird though. |

I like this image just the way it is. Colors and tonality appear to me to be right on. I like the water flow and the areas of aqua/green glacier melt that show up in several slower moving water areas. The rocks add enough contrast and I like the framing of the wispy branches on either side of the image. Well done. |

Great gull and catch. As the others have mentioned the image appears a little soft but has all the makings of a nice nature story.
As for the lens I have the 70-200 f2.8 and seem to use it mostly in very low light situations. I use the canon 100-400 as my primary lens for nature shooting although I have lately been using a 1.4ext with it although it raises f/stop values. As for landscape - listen to the others - it is something I need to work on as well. |

Wonderful landscape. I wish I had your eye and talent in shooting landscapes. I like the colors and tonality as they were originally. To me there is the start of morning light as shown by the soft hues on the horizon and then changing into more light and the blue skies.
I don't have the editing knowledge of the others but learn every time from your images and expertise. |

Nice image. I like the contrast of the colors between the bricks and the greens of the plants. The angle of the image creates nice diagonals for the eye to follow. Also the clarity of your cell phone image is very good as in the texture if the bricks and you can even see a stray (pet?) hair on a brick in the corner. |

First the article was very real and well written.
The snowy in flight is great. I always have trouble with white birds and hot spots or white areas that are net well defined. You have captured this well. All seem to work well together with the white against the blue and the touch of green from the top of the cypress tree. Another winner. |
