Well done image. B&W was the right choice. There is a excellent pattern displayed in the building as well as nice cloud reflection of the cloudy sky in the glass of the building. (There is just enough actual sky shown in the image) |

Wonderful image. Nice sharp details on the main part of the building and the outer edges give a fog effect that I think could be pulled back a bit. The black and white (almost sepia) set the image off nicely. |

Wonderful image. There is a lot of sharp detail in the hat which is your theme. Her eyes are captivating and the red lips add to the setting. I think you have a winner. |

I also find the women's hat blown out. As Alan said there are too many extra distractions in the image. I also think the green background shirt along the women's back need to be addressed. |

I think Joan has really hit it correct with her assessment of the fix. |

Another superb image. I like it better with the branches cropped out. The water falls, detailed rock shelves below and the tree line are all right on. I think with the rocks toned down as in your second rendition you definitely have a winner. |

Nice image. I like the immediate framing around the hawk. I think it could use a little more pop in the hawk itself. I took the revised/cropped image Mike did and increased the mid-tone levels a small amount. I think it adds to it. |

I like the tones and colors of the autumn scene. The cropping of the water is a very subjective taste to the eye of the viewer. One thing I did notice on my monitor and that catches my eye (especially when enlarging) is the halo / pixel effect that seems to be along the tree tops and around the clouds. I did notice that they are in the last three images that you have posted with the trees and clouds. Could this be something in processing or a lens / camera effect? |

I like the image with the colors of the leaf and the light in the background showing through. I think Sharon is correct about removing the leaf line on the lower part of the leaf. I also think that the left side of the leaf should be sharper and more in focus to enhance it even more. Good concept though that I would have never noticed. |

I like the detail in the deer. An interesting pose created by an itch on the tail. The head and eye detail are sharp and set the image up even with the hot white spots. I like the fact that you can see from this image that this is a soon to be or already happened new mother. I have to agree that the background is too close and busy and distracts from the animal but we have to take what we are given in these nature images. |
