49 May 17 Comment I have to disagree with Alan. I think you should have used a faster shutter speed to create less blur. A small amount would be OK but I think there is too much in the flags. I also think the wire that appears across the top third of the image should be removed. May 21st
49 May 17 Comment Alan, you did well with the conversion of this image to B&W. I prefer the single version as I believe the double version is too hard to focus on. Your eyes keep looking from one to the other with no set focal point. Also the single leaf on the bottom right enhances the single image. May 21st
49 May 17 Comment I like Alan's changing this image to B&W. It seems sharper and crisper. May 21st
49 May 17 Comment Nice image from a different point of view. I have to agree Alan with the yellow spots. I think without them you have a winner. You have captured good texture in the white portions of the petals. May 21st

52 May 17 Reply John, this shot was taken at 6:30 to 7:00 in the morning. I did not have full use of light at this this time. May 21st
52 May 17 Comment Wonderful image. Sharp, crystal clear and all the colors are right on. I have always thought that from a distance this bird looks like an eagle with a bad toupee. Have tried to capture a good image of this bird but as you pointed out the are a very evasive bird not liking to have their picture taken. May 21st
52 May 17 Comment Nice image with good use of the lighting. The colors seem to work well together and the spines of the plant create many different focal points at their intersections and play nice with the light and shadows and green tones. May 21st
52 May 17 Comment Very nice image. I like the true colors and tonality of this image. All of the different light patterns blend well together to give one a real sense of depth and vastness of the scene. Well done. This place is on our bucket list. May 21st
52 May 17 Comment Lisa, I like this thistle capture. I have to agree with the others about the leaf on the left and its distraction. Simple idea would be to crop a major portion of it out. The diagonal is pleasing. I just played with levels a bit to increase the colors and add a little more pop. May 21st
52 May 17 Comment Beautiful image. The landscape images and stitching images together are way beyond me. When time permits it is definitely something to pursue, however, landscapes of this nature tend to be nonexistent in South Florida. Your so called bluish area in the upper right did not bother me and as Lisa said it looks like shadow areas. On my monitor it appeared to have a small magenta tint in that area. I believe that Mike's rendering adds a little more pop to the image and also the removal of the stump and that long piece of grass right next to it help enhance the image more. May 21st
52 May 17 Comment Nice image. Great in flight capture with nesting materials. Colors and tonality are strong for the most part. I did notice on my monitor at least what seemed to be some noise on the lower portion of the back wing. I tried a quick fix using Imagenomic on the weaker noise setting and it seemed to fix it. Still a very strong image. May 21st
