Fred - a wonderful image. I believe the subject area is wonderful but a touch flat. I have used the dehaze tool and also increased the levels a bit to add what if feel is more pop to your image. These are only my thoughts on my view of the image. |

Alan - a very interesting perspective of the water tower. I like the contrast of the bricks and mortar and the tallness the image creates. I think my only concern is the upper left and the heavy black dots. They seem to distract from the image. Perhaps cropping most of them out would enhance the image. |

I think this is a very interesting effect. The colors are strong and create interesting patterns. I am wondering about the gold in the lower third of the image and if there is too much of it. My thought might be to crop up the point on the left creating less gold and bring out more interest in the yellows. |

Wonderful image. I love the darkness of the foreground and the tree. The mountains in the mid range contain enough low light detail to keep interest and then Mount Hood in all its brilliance. Your dramatic sky only enhances what is already captures. |

Nice worm's eye view of the crocuses. The soft greens and purples work well together and I feel that your second cropped version enhances the viewers perspective of this set of crocuses. Detail of the foreground is right on and the soft fade to a purple blur in the background make the image. Well done |

John, As a southerner that has not experienced snow in over 40 years I am not sure my comments will be accurate. My first impression was that the snow in the lower third of the image was a touch too blue. Then I began to wonder if this was a low light effect on the surface caused by the fading sun light. The foreground tree on the left helps set interest but I feel that the tree line on the opposite shore leave too much open sky. I think that your infrared images has the trees a little higher in the image and makes for a more pleasing image. |

Lisa - Nice try and an A for effort and trying something new. I can't add anything to what has already been suggested and commented on. I think that the best learning tool is to try and try, learning from each of the past images shot. |

Great portrait of the young eagle. Very sharp and crystal clear. I think the eye is the focus (no pun intended) of this image and helps to highlight all the rest of the details in the beak and feathers. Wonderful shot and great patience to get this image. |

Simplicity is the key here. The smooth clean background, the slight ripples in the water suggesting motion and the detailed bird help to make this a very strong image. I love trying to get close ups of their amazing eyes. A wonderful eye level image. |
