Visiting and the colors and subject matter and composition caught my eye. Lovely!
Perhaps darken the buildings just a tad |

Wow, this is really different than the ones posted, I like how you were able to run with their ideas and compose and create it, most of us would have gotten defensive instead. Kudos
As for the original creation, I would edit the 7647 to say area 54. I would leave the gate and the road, but I would have the road come in from the left so the image reads left to right and leads us to the center of interest. The road now leads us out of the frame. To me the tall tower on the left distracts.

Great story (explanation) and an interesting photo.
I like the mixture of color and monochrome and the collage format. You write so well, so I always look forward to your explanations and your comments as well as your imagery.
The only thing I would to to improve is to eliminate the keystrokes, as they separate the color from the background and without them it would seem more coherent to me.
I do like Nadia's idea of the two hands together and the two men facing each other too. |

I love zoom bursts and I love pareidolia, so this image resonates very well with me! The car itself is really cool, but then the zoom burst eliminates the background elements. I do a lot of zoom bursts and often to eliminate the background. I also like the color pallette and the overall feel. This really sings to me!
I teach this in-camera and in PS during our workshops.
The one area to be improved is the upper left, not sure if the local thingy is part of the car or in the background, but the shadow is disturbing, that whole little area could be masked more... |

Interesting juxtaposition!
The background has a monochromatic eerie dead feeling to it with the calla lily symbolizing hope and regrowth.
Flipping it would make the dead trees lean towards hope... |

I love the warm tones against the blue sky, great time of the evening for this. The greens are like icing on the cake and the aperture chosen created those wonderful lights, shining like diamonds.
I would remove the red from the far left building and crop some off of the right. |

I like the old barn and the composition. You have a good eye for subjects like this. The angle of the barn lets us see a lot.
The tone mapping is good, with lots of details and continuum.
The barn seems washed out and yellow. I masked the sky and the barn and added more contrast and color to the barn.
I wish we could see the RAW files for images like this...

Love the scene.
Perhaps "Cows grazing at the old tree"
There is a a lot to be said to EDR (extended dynamic range) in ACR nowadays, I do less HDR now since the cameras's dynamic range has improved and certainly the ability to pull details in the shadows and highlights has improved a lot.
I would have liked to see the SOOC version to see what the software was able to achieve. The sky, clouds, ground and tree are good, but the cows are still dark to my taste |

The cropped version allows the emphasis on the lit mountain and places it in a power place.
This version keeps your pano dimensions, just more details in the right mt |

Sounds likea great trip!
I love the clouds and the composition, but to me it needed another stop or two to allow more detail in the shadows. Or crop to create more emphasis on the lit mountain. |

Max, I always want to travel with you!
This is wonderful, love how you captured this despite it being closed.
Perhaps darken and unsaturate the lower right crate. there is also a string near the register going up the back.
I tweaked a few things like that and then sharpened and brightened the register

hat a dynamic composition and flow to the image. The water drops and fanned our grasses adds to the scene. ove the crop and it very good for an extreme crop. The diagonal leads us right bird and then to the flowering grass tips. Whimsical! |

I love the soft lighting and the tones and the drop coming off of its beak.Beautiful!
There seems to be a slight cyan color cast coming off of the wings but except for that is is wonderful. I added a color blend mode layer and removed the color cast (might have been able to do it with a hue/sat adjustment layer or color mixer in ACR. |

I love this in BW. The girl running and even the movement of her leg is perfect. The barn and the sheep help tell the story. This resonates with me a lot.
And I also felt the Andrew Wyeth connection
the only thing to improve, the foot and left edge is a tad busy |

very cool composite.
The night and added aurora are wonderful and the icm bird adds to the scene. The green truck and composition with the bird fits well.
perhaps darken the road a tad? |

Cindy, I love your puffins and your paintings! well done!
Your comment about adding more space inspired me, so I added more canvas), hard to do given the border and the low res, but you should be able to do it much easier with the original)
I flipped it to add the the visual interest, since the diagonal leads the viewer out of the frame, but flipping it we now do in from the left, thru the diagonal and then thru the puffins. |
