what a wonderful composite.
The color palette is pleasing and dramatic.
The lamp posts ground her (I like Brad's version too)
Improvement...
for the model, if it bends, bend it, her straight arm needs a slight bend at the elbow.
I am not sure about the one bird, is it needed, but if it is, the current placement looks like she kicked it, lol. I like the birds you added to the sky |

This is very strong! I like the kayaker in the center and the symmetry. The clouds could be tone down and not sure that the bird on the lefts adds or is needed. The tones are so strong and the composition and story telling are wonderful. I have a new favorite image of yours! |

love this.
I like how you isolated this strong parrot tulip and showcased it with a background that complements it and doesn't compete with it. well done! the only thing to improve would be to add a little more canvas/background to the left to give the flower a little room. |

Welcome Julie! I love polar coordinates, so much fun and they are a great stepping off point for other creations.
I like your revised version better and was going to suggest editing the merger, but your revision solved that.
I like how you took something ordinary and went with it and worked it to create something novel. the stained glass adds a nice touch.
I would work on the edges around "the planet", you can select and filter blur average or select and copy and paste the center not any color you want.
Glad to have you in th group! |

very creative, love the shadow on the push pin too
The bottom left gets a little dark and muddy, but the rest really works. |

I like the idea of taking the image back in and compositing it with the original.
I am not sure what you mean by add stars, since these are star trails.................... |

I like the dreamy orton effect. I would crop a little off the bottom and fix the tail feathers of the birds to make it stronger. |

Interesting place. Thanks for the tip, my travel list grows and grows! Thank you for the detailed information about the place, the image and the processing.
The colors and textures are interesting.
Perhaps add a new layer and change the blend mode to soft light and make the path thru more dominant.

The composition is strong and the blue and orange building are colors at opposite ends of the color wheel, which adds. The tonemapping is well done, perhaps a tad saturated for my taste.
The floors is awesome! The door has some blue color cast in five places. Wish that I was there... |

At first it takes on such an abstract feel, like it belongs it MoMa.
The blue adds so we know which way the flow is going. the colors and vivid and the patterns flow nicely... |

Great image, and interesting sunset approach. I have not been here since digital, last time was slide film, your image inspires me to get back there.
The weather definitely makes it.
I love reading your approach and what you tried and the suggestions. I do like the edited foreground that was posted.
"Being a Sony mirrorless user, dust is inevitable, so it was worth a look"
That is very sad to hear. I can often tell a photo taken with Sony because of the sensor spots not everyone removes them). I have never had any issues with my Olympus sensor and dust, it has a supersonic wave filter which removes. Every Olympus since the first camera, the E-1 back in 2003, has a SSWF (SuperSonic Wave Filter) which is a separate filter in front of the sensor sandwich that vibrates when you turn on the camera, shaking the dust off. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2773908829293546
I would have hoped that Sony would have fixed that dust issue by now. I tried Sony for a year, but never bonded with it, despite the great crisp colors, the weekly sensor cleaning and the many menu system problems pushed me to sell it. The final nail in the coffin was the firmware with a new noise removal algorithm, which was wonderful for weddings, but it became a "star eater", luckily they fixed that, but for me I could not wait for new firmware, or roll back the old firmware. I love the weathersealed and dustproof Olympus system I use. |
